i thought akshay had a cameo in this film. but it's an almost full-length role. he certainly should have promoted the film more, and undoubtedly, he should have been the face of the film. the 3 senior leads do a commendable job, which isn't surprising considering how talented they are. but their ways of wooing the lisa's character got a bit cringe worthy at times. akshay's plot line was the most fun though. no one can do self-deprecating comedy better than the khiladi.

yet another predictable rom com from bollywood. saif stars as a writer who has failed to live up to expectations after his first novel which was a smash hit. so, in order to pay the bills, he has got no choice but to accept the offer to write a script for a bollywood hero(played by govinda). the cameos(zinta excluded) and the female protagonist are just furniture. the chemistry between govinda and saif is mind blowing. i could enjoy the film only because of them.

(According to Sanju Drake Kill Dil is a 2 star movie)

while watching kill/dil, my mind went back to 'gunday'. both these movies basically have the same theme. a girl comes on and breaks the chemistry between the guys. the movie starts brilliantly and manages to keep me on the edge till the first half ends. post-interval is all downhill and yet another case of 'what could have been'. the classic bollywood ending with lots of melodrama thrown in. when will our filmmakers learn to think out of the box? govinda deserved more screen time. all these years away from bollywood, but the no. 1 still got the mojo. the two leads were fabulous. parineeti's second disappointing film in a row. i had high hopes from her after sdr and hasee to phasee. buy tickets and walk out after the first half. you won't miss nothing.
