Badmashiyaan - Fun Never Ends
(According to Ahalya Priya Badmashiyaan - Fun Never Ends is a 5 star movie)
badmashiyaan falls under the category of romantic comedy movie, which is hitting this friday along with slew of other films. it has all the newbies except the talented sharib hashmi. the newbie on the board comprises of suzanna mukherjee, karan mehra, gunjan malhotra and sidhant gupta. badmashiyaan marks his second innings in b town film after filmistan, which is directed by amit khanna and produced by vijay gutte. the movie has a run time of around 132 minutes close two hours, while the music comes from bobby imran and edited by rahul bhatnkar, which is produced under the banner of vrg motion pictures. let’s dig deep into the film as under: meet dev arora played by siddhant gupta, who is the owner of a cafe. then you have his girl friend called na-ri played by the gorgeous suzanna mukherjee. dev is still to propose her lady, and one fine day he plans to do so, which however remains incomplete. thanks to the con young lady who flees away from the scene the very fine day when dev is all set to propose her. in this romantic comedy flick this beautiful girl – nariis simply thinks about money. her boyfriends keep on changing as per the money she finds in their bank balances. she first love boys and then cons them at the end. he then assigns the job of finding nari to a private detective called pinkesh played by karan mehra who is also his friend. in the meantime, dev comes across another lady called palak mehra played by gunjan malhotra who happens to his neighbour. soon, the detective find out that nari is living these days with a don called jassi played by sharib hashmi. jassi has reformed and left all his gangster’s activities beside to start his new life with the lady. what happens next is interesting to explore, whether dev will get back her love and what would the reformed jassi will do hearing all his love story, will he eturn to his gangster avatar, how nari is planning to con this don, catch the film to find the answers of these questions. now talking about performances, sharib hashmi has been incredible while playing the character of a reformed don. the way he has acted the character of a don is simply mind blowing, which one can only expect from a seasoned actor. in just two films, and badmashiyaan being his third venture, he has in a very small amount of time carved his niche in b town of a perfect actor. you will get to see his dexterity in his performance in the movie. on the other side, the con lady, naari played by suzzana mukherjee too is good, though it’s her debut movie, but the kind of performance she has portrayed while playing a straight forward and money sucking lady is simply awesome. in her role of a tomboyish girl who is straight and too money centric, she has impressed with her performance. don’t forget to catch the lip-lock session of hers with hashmi, you would love it over the silver screen. similar is the story of other characters including that of dev and karan played by siddhant gupta and karan mehra respectively too is impressive. the script has all the fun, which its promises to the audience. the fun unlimited continues till the last minute of the film, which makes the film a cool to watch. the other elements like music, editing and screenplay remained par, making the movie a quality product. this is amit khanna’s second movie, which seemed promising this time at least when you compare it with the earlier ones. his direction skills in the film can keep the audience engaged for a long haul. talking about the other elements, it has everything, which can make the film better to best. these certainly include the songs and music as well. last word for badmashiyaan review : badmashiyaan is essentially a romantic comedy; however, it has all the major elements that any typical b town movie encompasses. the glaring performances of actors especially that of hashmi, unlimited fun and entertainment can really keep you glued for a long. despite having less star value, the badmashiyaan team is able to tr

Dum Laga Ke Haisha
(According to Ahalya Priya Dum Laga Ke Haisha is a 5 star movie)
27 feb dum laga ke haisha movie review critics review yash raj films has been often seen toying around the idea of love over the bigger screens. thanks to their creativity, which has set forth some of the successful love stories on big screen, bringing out really good talents over the 70 mm screen. dum laga ke haisha is one of the movies, which showcases love in a different mode making it a cute film to catch. as you dig deep, you realise the intensity of its cuteness. the movie stars ayushmann khurana is a different mode along with bhumi pednekar. the film is directed by sharat katariya, while the music comes from anu malik, and you find two songs from kumar sanu, whom you get to hear after a long gap. the story meet an uneducated, shy and audio cassette shop owner prem prakash tiwari (played by ayushmann khurrana). he is an ideal candidate for any rapid speaking english coaching academy ad often pasted on any small time towns and districts. he is known as lapoor, however, lalloo could have suited him better than the former as prem comes as the ricochets between his irritating group leader and his friends along with his overbearing father played by sanjay mishra. he is a kind of man or boy who is still seen in khaki knickers who is seen doing his exercises over the riverside and can be easily badgered. this attribute simply leads him to the wedding throne wherein he seated beside a overweight sandhya played by bhumi pednekar who aspires only two things in her life, to become a teacher and find a loving husband. despite the reluctance prem is seen with a mismatch marriage. amidst carrying his mismatch marriage, he encounters the challenge of carrying his wife over his back in a competition organized in his town. the endeavour to win the race ignites the light of love story in the film, which becomes interesting to catch. movie analysis well, let’s start things on a positive note discussing the good things about the film. the very first thing about it is that the film has a story, which ironically a majority of films in b town lack. the story has its solid base, honest script, a lead couple, which help you winning gradually and a number of actors who certainly know where they hail. the movie can be called to be the most honest one in the recent times from yash raj films. it comes with a great script, which can prove nostalgic to people who have their childhood of eighties and nineties. you can find good amount of character detailing in it, which helps in finding a quick connect. this film can be a mirror for a number of people who had such kind of experiences and situations in the past. now, if you talk about the bad things, wish the director could have tried to create the connect in between the two lead characters without the competition. and secondly a few sequences, which go irrelevant to the movie. dlkh revives the nostalgic moments of the late eighties and nineties wherein the era of cassettes, scooters simply dominated our lives, which used to be very much simpler than today. the script has the potential to win your heart portraying the naive characters in the relatable way. the misfit marriage in the era of the std pco’s really has the substance, which the audience would love to catch. you find the dialogues in the film very much quirky and enjoyable with too many smaller laughs and grins. the character of sandya who happens to be a well educated lady apart from being an independent thinker. you can find the movie rising high on realism and connect, which gives opportunity to a number of people to get relieve from their personal experiences. now, let’s check the star performances, starting with ayushmann khurrana. he is successful in getting rid of his earlier disaster coming in the form of hawaizaada. with the character of dump prem, he is able to quickly connect with you, which happens to be the most endearing performance of this man. next is bhumi, who did her debut with this movie playing a challenging role

Nh10
(According to Ahalya Priya Nh10 is a 4 star movie)
for the first time, anushka sharma is embarking with venture called nh10, whom she is venturing in opposite to the ungli actor neil bhoopalam and darshan kumar. the entire trailer starts in an intriguing format wherein she is seen in a metal rod dragging all around to avenge the ruthless people coming in their way. in the very first scene you can find a metal rod screeching over the road and thus give you the creeps and gives a clear picture that the film is full of violent and dark shades. the movie revolves around a couple (anushka & bhoopalam) who are madly in love with other who plan out a road trip. amidst all their gala time, their journey was seen turning ugly the moment they are seen in a local town, which is pitted in its own vandals. perhaps, if you dig a deep, you realise nh10 story is being inspired by a couple of incidents taking place in gurgaon wherein crimes rule more than law. the action you catch in the trailer seems very much bloody and ruthless and it is interesting to see anushka in an avatar with blood stains and fear. with this movie, anushka is all set to prove her versatility followed by embarking with some of the best performances in aamir khan starrer film pk. neil on the contrary is not seen sharing space in this trailer, however, he seems promising as compared with his previous performances. in a sense, with niche based movies, he has the potential to prove his worth with incredible performance. then you have the mary kom actor darshan kumar, who comes out in the role of an impressive antagonist seen in some of the chilling sequences including the one wherein he is seen dragging a woman ruthlessly by her hair. thus you can claim that the movie doesn’t really appear like a novel presentation but the tragedy is that the execution seems very much predictable and very much typical for production house like phantom. there is a forceful use of cuss words as witnessed in the trailer and at the same time the filmmaker has put all their efforts to make it appear very much captivating. on the good note, the trailer seems utilizing the background score very nicely. the trailer has become successful in grabbing the attention by its dialogues, which the trailer fails to have. most of the time, the trailer is seen relying over gory scenes with faded environment just to inculcate the curiosity level. all in all, the movie trailer gives the picture of anushka sharma to be very much performance oriented actress.

Hey Bro
(According to Ahalya Priya Hey Bro is a 5 star movie)
hey bro is among the comedy action dramas, which is releasing this friday in a long list of films hitting the theatres. the film is directed by ajay chandhok produced by vidhi achardya. the movie has ganesh acharya, maninder singh, nupur sharma and hanif hilal in the lead roles. the movie has its music from nitin arora and sony chandy popularly known as nitz n sony, while the lyrics come from pranav vatsa. ganesh who is doing the lead role in the film is a popular choreographer in bollywood. apart from long list of casting in the film, he has managed to rope in the big stars like amitabh bachchan, hrithik roshan, akshay kumar, ranveer singh, prabudeva, avi kharinar, govinda, and ajay devgn in special appearance for the cameos. now, let’s dig deep into this comedy and drama genre film as under: let’s start with the plot of film. in this comedy action drama, you have a cute and innocent guy called gopi played by ganesh acharya based in a small village in rajasthan. he comes to the city of dreams called bombay not for work or big name in b town but to search his twin brother called maninder and his mother played by indrani who got separated long back after giving him birth. he comes to the city without any address or photograph of missing family members as it’s his grandfather’s (prem chopra) wish. since he has no picture of his brother, he comes with his own photograph without realizing that twins can be different in terms of looks and features. however, he has the naive belief of having similar twin brothers, which he has imbibed from a couple of hindi movies. amidst his hunt for his brother and mother, you can find too much comedy and fun. he is encountered with a number of hilarious situations, escapes from the baddies in the town and finally finds his brother called shiv and his mother with the help of hot and gorgeous girl called anjali played by nupur sharma. now, let’s talk about performances, starting with the script. as said excess of anything can be lethal, here the comedy seems to have become the culprit for the film. the first half seems engaging a bit with some genuine comedy along with drama, romance and emotions; however, the next half is boring and can make you yawn over your seats giving therefore too many loo breaks. now, let’s talk about the performances of the lead stars. ganesh acharya as gopi is comic though but seems to lag behind in giving the best comical performance. yet you can applaud his efforts to act in a movie trying something apart from choreography, which is not his cup of tea. similar is the story of other characters too, who tried their best to entertain with their performances but fails at the end of the day to make their mark over the silver screen. you can find nupur sharma to be hot and sexy, which can be an object of attraction for the audience. also, the presence of a number of stars in cameo in various sequences especially songs can be a bit attractive for the audience.
