its a superb movie with amazing plot it a adaption of shaksepeere'novel. amazing acting is done by shahid kapoor. cinematics and direction is amazing. it creates hypnotic state amazingly expressed movie but suspense was weak as it was easily understood so therefore overall movie is as amazing movie problem of kashmir is expressed amazingly. this is perhaps the first anti indian film that had been produced in india by indians. just as the film producers chose to showcase army as criminals, i would prefer to call the film maker and its sympathizers jaichands.

it is inspired by shakespeare's hamlet. it got every element of a good movie which make viewer very excited and interesting. the movie is set in 1995 in kashmir. it is the story of a son, father, mother, uncle and life in kashmir in 1995. i like it very much because it shows us what really happened in that period and people get affected by the dirty indian politics. shahid kappor, kk menon and taboo ha done their work decently but the work of director or music director vishal; bhardwaj is exceptional especially the song 'are aao na ke jaan gayi' and the graveard. art direction is fantastic as well as gulzar lyrics touch you as always. this is real cinema and i am thankful to vishal bhardwaj for this movie.
