you stay invsted here because the material at hand combines india's two religions cricket and film. of course, this generation would rather see biopics on ms dhaoni or virat kholi. but, to give the devil his due, azhar was an idol in the 80-90's. the film traces the rise of a prodigy born into a modest muslimhousehold in hydrabad. as early as his 20's. he goes on to become one of the most accomplised indian batsman and paisa vasool fielder.

sarbjit is not the unrelentong screamfest that gadar was but deols film came to mind as the former miss world help up her famous slender digit to intimate an armed pakistani security official. she did this right after delivering a loud speech to a pakistani mob about how pakistanis stab us indians in the back while we bravely fight them face to face. as expected the gun bearing pakistani meekly moves aside, and she proceeds to grandly walk past him as only indian movie stars can when up against the dreaded dushman from across the border,

when you chase your dreams, how far is too far? director kd satyam gets ambitious with his story, which has its hearts in the right place, but fails to mould it into somee thing imapactful. bollywood diaries is one of those rare films that you would want to invest in but the half baked narratives is not successful in holding your attention. it is adequate but not evocative enough.

you i'll be at a loss of words when it comes to describing love shagun. it is regressive. silly and incoherent. this love story is over wrought and sinks due to whirlpool of regressive ideas that forms the basis of this story. in the very first scene of the film, we find a young guy seeking love counselling from a jyotish who tells him his first marriage will end in divorce, that one scene is what determines the course of the narrative
