Nil Battey Sannata
(According to Ch Suresh Kumar Nil Battey Sannata is a 3 star movie)
directed by ashwiny iyer tiwari, nil battey sannata stars swara bhaskar and has been produced by anand l rai. the makers may not have gone all out to promote this film but when you have a good story, it is bound to attract moviegoers. word of mouth is the best publicity for such films which are high on content.

Baaghi
(According to Ch Suresh Kumar Baaghi is a 4 star movie)
when we come upon him first in his second film, baaghi, we see tiger shroff upside down, balancing his full weight on a thumb and forefinger. it is an impressive sight, to see someone so fit, so agile, so much in command of his body. why does a film with a new hero, who can reveal a beautifully muscled chest, and do such jaw dropping stunts, not go for broke and create freshness all arount? i enjoyed the first half, and yawned through the much too long drawn second half.

Captain America: Civil War
(According to Ch Suresh Kumar Captain America: Civil War is a 4 star movie)
marvel has a better grip on captain america than any of their heroes, and it can be said with confidence that the three movies come together to create the greatest superhero trilogy of all time. matching its blockbuster scale and spectacle with the smarts of a great, gown up thriller, captain america: civil war is marvel studios finest film yet. there. we said it again.

1920 London
(According to Ch Suresh Kumar 1920 London is a 3 star movie)
this is the third in bhatt's series of films with 1920 in the title, and the locket finds our couple, shivangi[meera chopra] and veer-sa [vishal karwal], on one of those afternoons that they spend lovingly having tea together in a castle that should give the queen something to think about [or at least will and kate]. during a song sequence establishing both that love and that wealth, veer-sa acquires a barrister degree. the story relies on pulling off one major twist, but its a ratehr obvious one and once you figure it out the sporadic and half-hearted attempts at grisly, jumpy scares ebb away. a jilted lover with black magic expertise is hardly likely to be a saint. perhaps all the horror there was, has been sucked out of 1920.

Azhar
(According to Ch Suresh Kumar Azhar is a 2 star movie)
this laugh worthy decision by the film makers was apparently to avoid the risk of litigation, so whether the real life azhar was a safe player or not, it certainly shows that director tony d'souza is a cautious batsman who will check with the bowler before deciding his story play.

Sarbjit
(According to Ch Suresh Kumar Sarbjit is a 3 star movie)
based on the life of sarabjit singh, a farmer who was wrongfully convicted in pakistan and died after a fatal assault inside jail, the movie sarbjit focuses on his sister dalbir kaur's fight against the system to prove his innocence. despite the heavy, tragic air of the film, there are a few breathers, the mini flashback scenes of sarabjit with his family are touching. in one of the initial sequences, we also see a grieving aishwarya clinging on to her still born child. randeep convinces her to give up the infant's body. delicately done, this is one of the rare winning subtle moments.
